Karina Triller participates in Northwestern College Women's Chorale 2013 Spring Tour

Northwestern College announces that Karina Triller, daugher of Mark & Annika Triller of Janesville, WI, will be participating in the Northwestern College Women's Chorale 2013 Spring Tour. Tour dates and locations are as follows:

  • Thursday, April 25 in St. Paul, Minnesota
  • Thursday & Friday, April 25 & 26 in Rochester, Minnesota
  • Sunday, April 28 in New Brighton, Minnesota
  • Tuesday, April 30 in Roseville, Minnesota

Triller is a 2012 graduate of Craig High School and is currently a Freshman pursuing a degree in Electronic Media Communication .

The Northwestern College Women's Chorale, directed by Dr. Mary Kay Geston, will tour and perform April 25-28 in St. Paul, Rochester, and New Brighton, Minn., returning to Northwestern College for their Homecoming Concert shared with the Varsity Men's Chorus on Tuesday, April 30 at 7:30 in Maranatha Hall on the Northwestern College campus.

The choir kicks off its tour by singing in chapel for the student body of Concordia Academy, St. Paul, Minnesota, and will then travel to Rochester for outreach concerts in Lourdes Chapel at Assisi Heights and Saint Mary's Chapel at Saint Mary's Hospital, part of Mayo Clinic. The choir will perform sacred and secular music about nature and the beauty of the earth including The Prayer of St. Francis, an arrangement by Minnesota composer René Clausen that was commissioned by and for the Women's Chorale, as well as two Shaker songs, an African-American spiritual, and folksongs from Scandinavia, Estonia, and British Columbia. The choir will visit a working dairy farm before returning, and will sing at two worship services at Salem Covenant Church in New Brighton, Minnesota, on Sunday, April 28.
