Melody Rossiter Participates in Northwestern Orchestra tour to Hawaii

Melody Rossiter will be participating in the Northwestern Orchestra 2015 Tour to Hawaii, May 18-26.

Launching their trip with a Bon Voyage concert on May 4, the orchestra will perform concerts in Honolulu from May 20-23 and in Waialua on May 24.

Rossiter, who plays the Violin, is currently a Senior pursuing a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.

The Northwestern Orchestra, conducted by David Kozamchak, will travel along with UNW Faculty Artists-in-Residence Roger Frisch (associate concertmaster of the Minnesota Orchestra) and Michele Frisch (principal flute of the Minnesota Opera and VocalEssence). The performances will include Victory at Sea by Richard Rodgers, Highlights from Jurassic Park by John Williams, Saint Paul's Suite by Gustav Holst, American Fantasia by Victor Herbert, and a special commissioned work by Hollywood film composer/orchestrator and UNW alum (2010) Jordan M. Cox entitled Arran & Nerys featuring Roger Frisch, violin and Michele Frisch, flute.
