Melody Rossiter participates in University of Northwestern Orchestra tour 2014

University of Northwestern – St. Paul (UNW) announces that Melody Rossiter, daughter of Thayne & Jolen Rossiter of Bloomington will be participating in the Orchestra “Symphony in the Southwest” Arizona Tour 2014. Tour dates and locations are as follows:

  • Friday, March 7, in Queen Creek and Scottsdale, Ariz.
  • Saturday, March 8 in Carefree, Ariz.
  • Sunday, March 9 in Mesa, Ariz.
  • Wednesday, March 12 in Sun City, Ariz.
  • Tuesday, March 18, in St. Paul, Minn.

Rossiter and is currently a sophomore pursuing a Psychology degree.

The UNW Orchestra, directed by David Kozamchak, will leave wintry Minnesota and head to sunny Arizona March 6–13 for a tour entitled “Symphony in the Southwest.” Visiting schools and churches in the Phoenix area, the orchestra will perform selections from the opera Carmen by Bizet, The Wasps Suite by Vaughan Williams, American Salute by Morton Gould, as well as music from the films "Apollo 13" and "The Magnificent Seven," and the TV show "The Wild, Wild West."
